We wanted to create a surf rod that would live up to the standards of the Dark Matter brand. What we came up with is a 10' rod constructed of Dark Matter Nano Carbon that is lightweight so you can fish it all day or night, and that has a powerful back end so you can turn fish if necessary. The Dark Matter Surf Rod has a slower taper than other surf rods and is great for fishing
